Welcome to the Yoga for Kids Bali Teacher Training!
This intensive and practical course will provide you with everything you need to know to teach yoga and mindfulness to children and teens
Online and In-person Training
All in one 3 Day Experience

The online course is designed to be flexible, so you can choose to complete it as a stand-alone course, or use it to prepare for the 3 – Day in-person experience here with us in Bali. It’s up to you how you want to approach the online program – you could study 100% online, or use it as a reference for the entire kids yoga and mindfulness kids yoga teacher training. The online platform gives you access to recordings of all lectures, workshops and classes, which you can refer back to even after your in-person experience has finished. This is a big advantage over doing only in-person training.
The 3-day part of this training will cover everything you need to know about teaching yoga to kids, from lesson planning to dealing with challenging behavior. You’ll receive comprehensive instruction from experienced instructors, so you’ll be prepared to start teaching yoga and mindfulness to kids as soon as you complete your time with us here in Bali.
As an added bonus, you will have a unique opportunity to teach a hands on kids yoga lesson at Sunrise School Bali. This is an ideal opportunity to immediately put your new skills to use in the classroom!

Jeanne Welsh
Jeanne has been working with children and differently-abled children for over 10 years. She has a unique understanding of the benefits that yoga can provide, and has experienced these benefits firsthand. “Inspired by the need for change, I wanted to create training for Yoga Teachers, Parents, Teachers, and Caregivers. I want to empower young minds with the skills to be in touch with their inner being and become the best they can be.”

Avi Basuki
“In this time and age of change, being a teacher is one of the most demanding and at the same time rewarding opportunities that I encountered in my life. It wasn’t an easy task at the beginning, especially when you are working with children. It was a big test for me of really coming back to and from the heart, creating a safe space for them and also for their future. I find it rewarding to be able to share with the children “soft skills” that they may decide to further develop as they grow and which can be a support for them no matter which direction they choose in life.” Coming from traditional tantric yoga lineage, shamanism and the magic world of sound healing, Avi will bring the unique use of music and sound into this heartfelt training.

Stella
Stella Attwood is a highly skilled and vibrant movement trainer famous for her knowledge in human body movement, attention to detail, hands-on assists and warm connection. Her extensive training worldwide began in 2010 with Pilates in Melbourne, and Hatha Yoga in Bali. Since then her passion for movement, anatomy and human physiology has drawn her to do continuing education in: FRC® Functional Range Conditioning, Pilates (full cert apparatus), Yoga therapy, The Garuda Method, Pre and post-natal exercise, Barre fitness, Aerial Fitness, Personal training, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Pain science, Evidence-based movement practices and Rehabilitation.
She strives to keep up to date with current best practices and is eager to share her knowledge to help others’ well-being. Her focus is mindful intuitive movement, empowering you to move with self-efficacy, to build strength, create a deeper mind/body/breath connection and experience feeling energized and invigorated.

Lala
Lala began her yoga practice in 2015 in search of a way to lose weight. At the time she was working at a hostel that provided a variety of yoga classes. Choosing Ashtanga as her first class was challenging and overwhelming but didn’t scare her away, she came back for beginner classes to work her way back to Ashtanga. Before she knew it, this physical exercise became a gateway to meditation, chanting, and changing her diet and she began to wonder what was beyond the asana practice. Lala trained with the Peaceful Warriors in August 2017 and describes being a peaceful warrior as respecting that yoga has many different approaches, staying humble and keeping an open mind, challenging the limits but remaining at peace with whatever comes. Currently, she is teaching Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, and Ashtanga in Canggu, Bali. In January 2020 Lala went to India to complete her 300hr Yoga Teacher Training to deepen her understanding and develop both her practice and teaching. Pranayama is Lala’s favourite practice to incorporate into her classes.

Taking this course with Yoga for kids Bali has been one of the best decisions for me. I am extremely grateful to you for being there with me on this journey as my mentor. You have always been around and guided me every time I reached out to you. This gives me a lot of confidence to embark on this journey.
This process brought to light not only how I can teach yoga to kids, but it allowed me to see my own childhood for exactly what it was – and that is completely priceless. It is absolutely rewarding going through what Yoga for Kids Bali has to teach and the resources provided online are superb. You will never lack content or inspiration for your own classes. The enthusiasm that Jeanne, Avi and everyone involved with Yoga for Kids Bali has for building the next generation is beautiful to witness online and in person.
Jeanne Welsh is full of passion and experience and it shines through in her well-organised course that is filled with information and valuable resources. This course gives you the tools and knowledge to teach kids and teens yoga with confidence and mindfulness. Jeanne provides ready to use teaching resources that are so well done and ignite a number of lesson possibilities! I learned so much and am so inspired after this course. I enjoyed the layout of the course and the music module by Avi was a fantastic bonus! Highly recommend for any aspiring yoga teachers and school teachers that want to bring more mindfulness and movement into their classrooms.
I liked the course very much. The online platform is very clear and the content is well structured. I have been able to acquire a lot of knowledge and find that it is just the right amount of knowledge in the different areas to have a clear understanding of yoga, child development and what is important in children’s yoga. I especially enjoyed the section on how stress acts in our bodies and what we can actively do about it. I am very happy to be able to acquire more knowledge in this area. It is also great that you can work on the course so flexibly. This makes it a lot easier to combine it with the other duties. Your quick feedback is also very helpful. YOU have great charisma and show how important the topic of Mindfulness for children is to you. That is very motivating. I also think it’s great that you show us how we can get into the business of children’s yoga and don’t see you as “competition”. That’s just great because I don’t know it, especially from other yoga courses or schools. I enjoyed the course immensely and I am grateful for your great support. I learned a lot and I am looking forward to using this knowledge soon to give children a stress-free future.
I really loved the course material and how it was structured. I especially liked how you linked what we are doing with connection to neurology and neuropsychology (I‘m a psychology major). That was very interesting for me! I also really enjoyed the chair yoga part! And I especially appreciate the creative parts and inspiration in the training! The connection between art and yoga is something that I would like to work with more in the future.
