Yoga Teacher
Brief info

Lala began her yoga practice in 2015 in search of a way to lose weight. At the time she was working at a hostel that provided a variety of yoga classes. Choosing Ashtanga as her first class was challenging and overwhelming but didnโ€™t scare her away, she came back for beginner classes to work her way back to Ashtanga. Before she knew it, this physical exercise became a gateway to meditation, chanting, and changing her diet and she began to wonder what was beyond the asana practice. Lala trained with the Peaceful Warriors in August 2017 and describes being a peaceful warrior as respecting that yoga has many different approaches, staying humble and keeping an open mind, challenging the limits but remaining at peace with whatever comes. Currently, she is teaching Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, and Ashtanga in Canggu, Bali. In January 2020 Lala went to India to complete her 300hr Yoga Teacher Training to deepen her understanding and develop both her practice and teaching. Pranayama is Lalaโ€™s favourite practice to incorporate into her classes.
